    Description

    Original
WWII Japanese Army Officers visor cap in good shape for its age. This cap has a cloth body and I see no moth holes on the red wool band
. The cloth top has 2 real small holes (see pencil tip) the top has some light scattered staining to it. Leather visor shows some scattered crackling to its topside. This has a thin black oil cloth sweat band that shows wear. Black cloth
liner is in good shape as is the leather chinstrap and  the cherry blossom chinstrap buttons denote the cap being of officer issue. This hat has a stitched name tag inside with kanji, owners, name or unit info. I don't have a translation for it. The brass star on front has 2 kanji symbols on it, not sure of their meaning.
