  • Condition: This is an original WW2 Japanese army helmet. From the research I did I believe it is a type 90. I got this out of an estate clean out. The father was a vet and brought a number of items back. I am just listing this helmet at this time. There were 2 rings that I found, one was marked Panay and the other Manila so I am guessing this helmet is from one of those areas. The rings are not for sale and do not go with the helmet. Outside to outside across is about 9 1/4", front to back is about 10 13/16". There is scratching, scuffing, paint loss, rust spots and wear from use to the metal inside and out. There is an S in a diamond, hard to make out, on the underneath back lip. The liner is worn, soiled, stained and there is no padding in it. There is Japanese writing underneath the 3 pads. One of the pads is torn half way through at the fold/crease. Selling it in as found condition. Please see all photos.
