    Description

    Wood Mold / Stamp Japanese Beckoning Cat (maneki-neko) 3" x 5"
This Japanese wood mold has never been used and is in excellent condition.  It is the maneki-neko (Japanese:
literally "beckoning cat") that is a common Japanese figure (lucky charm, talisman) believed to bring good luck to
the owner. The figure depicts a cat (traditionally a calico Japanese Bobtail) beckoning with an upright paw, and is
often displayed at the entrance of shops, restaurants, pachinko parlors, and other businesses.  The maneki-neko is
sometimes also called the welcoming cat, lucky cat, money cat, happy cat, beckoning cat, or fortune cat in English.
