Just discovered in our archives is this very rare 1950s PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE souvenir window water decal produced by OZARK GIFT HOUSE of MONTGOMERY CITY, MO.
The artwork on this decal is quite extraordinary. From the tiny 50's style cars on the turnpike, to the vast expanse of green hills and the brilliant blue sky, this decal could only have been created by a master illustrator, and is a beautiful example of early water decal art!
The decal measures 3 7/8" wide x 2 1/2" tall and is in as close to mint condition as you'll find after decades of storage - with colors that are still bright and vibrant.
Due to its age and rarity, we suggest this decal not be water dipped but kept "as-is" as the centerpiece of a collection.
