VINTAGE PARKER ROLLERBALL PEN MADE IN USA SILVERTONE COLOR METAL

Description

VINTAGE PARKER ROLLERBALL PEN MADE IN USA SILVERTONE COLOR METAL.  This pen uses a rollerball or similar refill, and the barrel and the part that holds the refill are stuck together at present.  I don't know whether the existing refill has leaked and caused the two parts to be stuck, or whether it is something else.  I have not tried to force them apart because I don't want to damage the pen.  If you are a pen collector you may have an idea about what you might be able to soak the pen in in order to loosen any dried ink if that is the problem, or just a way to get the two pieces apart.  When it does come apart, it does need a new refill. This pen is about 40 years old.  It has a black indented tip at the top, and that is just a tiny bit rough if you look with a magnifying glass.  The pen is marked "PARKER  MADE IN USA."  With just a little bit of work this could be a great pen for daily use or to add to your collection of vintage pens.  PIease email with questions.
