    Description

Very nice lot of 2 vintage Cream of Wheat print ads, most likely from the 1910s and/or 1920s. Both feature the iconic Cream of Wheat chef. Here’s what’s included, with as much information as I can provide:
Headline #1: “Hully Gee! It’s Cream of Wheat.”
    Artist: George Gibbs
    Copyright Date: 1907
    Publication: Munsey’s Magazine
Date: Unknown (Munsey’s ceased production in 1929)
    Size: 9 1/2” x 6 3/4”. Does not appear trimmed.
Additional: There is a pencil price mark () on top and a small burn(?) mark lower right border.
Opposite side: Ad for Shredded Wheat Biscuit
    Headline #2: “Opening the Case”
    Artist: Edward V. Brewer
    Copyright Date: 1918
    Publication: Unknown
Size: 8 3/4” x 6 3/4”. Appears to have been trimmed (likely from the binding)
Additional: There is light wrinkling, pushed from back of ad, in the white space, right top area.
Opposite side: Ad for Williams Shaving Stick. Some copy has been trimmed off.
