    Description

Offered from the celebrated Lower Ordovician; late Tremadoc Series, Fezouata Shales from north of Zagora, Morocco, is a very rare 1.5cm section of the curved feeding appendage of the predatory Panarthropod
    Amomalocaris
    sp.
These large scale predators were fast free swimming animals that predated trilobites and other non-sessile benthos, and could capture swimming trilobites with their curved, segmented anterior feeding arms, replete with sharp needle-like spines, which are well preserved in this example.
Great price for a sharply preserved fragment of this rare and enigmatic arthropod..............
