Trilobite-3 Unprepared Waldron Shale Calymene-Fossils Crinoid

Offered here are 3 unprepared Calymene breviceps trilobite from the Waldron Shale Formation from Blue Springs Quarry (filled with water) in Waldron, Indiana, Silurian in age. The trilobite on the left measures 1 3/8” long. The left free cheek is missing and can see the right free cheek. Great caramel color. The matrix measures 2” x 1 1/2”. The matrix was glued back together. The middle trilobite piece is a mystery. Two trilobites are showing and can’t tell if the middle one is complete or not. The one in the upper left looks complete. The upper left trilobite measures 1” long and the matrix measures 4 1/4” x 3 1/4”. The trilobite on the right looks to be enrolled and possibly a molt. It measures 1/2” wide and sits on a matrix piece that measures 2 1/2” x 1 1/2”. As with all unprepared trilobites, buyer understands that it may not turn out as good as they hoped or better than they hoped. These beautiful pieces were found about 20 years ago during the time we had a lease on part of the old Blue Springs Quarry outside Waldron, Indiana. The quarry is full of water and is in a legal battle. No collecting allowed. If you have purchased multiple items, please do not send payment until I send an invoice.
