Super Outstretched Flexicalymene meeki Ordovician Fossil Trilobite Mt. Orab Ohio

A simply stupendous Flexicalymene meeki trilobite from the Upper Ordovician of the Arnheim Formation from Mt. Orab, Ohio.  This locality is now no longer accessible so the specimens currently in the market are the only ones available. This is a nearly flawless specimen with some extraordinarily minor chipping on few pleurons that is almost imperceptible with the balance of the trilobite being in an excellent state of preservation. Nearly fully outstretched, the specimen would measure about an inch in length if the head was not bowed down a bit. Specimen came loose from the matrix during prep but was reattached. A simply amazing piece which displays extremely well. Please review the photos as they are a part of the description and shows the actual item you will receive.
