A Western Oregon University benefactor and honorary faculty member, Dr. Maurice created the J. Dolores and Alfred P. Maurice Endowed Challenge Prize, a challenge for undergraduates who complete a year-long project in quest for a ,000 prize.
The Western Oregon University Foundation manages the extensive holdings of the late Dr. Maurice’s art works and personal collections that are sold to fund the scholarship endowment.
