    Description

    Offered is a rare, good sized (3cm) and complete positive/negative example of
    Bathynotus
    kuichouensis (Lu). from the Lower Cambrian Kali Biota:
    Bathynotus-Nangops
    Zone (Lungwangmiaoen), Hunan Province, China.
    The external mould is very fine, with both librigena, eyes and all thoracic pleural spines intact. The internal is less perfect, with an obvious fracture through the incomplete cephalon, which is strengthened anteriorally with resin.
    Matrix pieces approx. 4cm X 4cm X 1cm.
    No reserve for this classic
    Bathynotus
    species in essentially complete condition..........one for the specialist collector.
