Ciliscutellum ciliensis
Lin 1987, from the Lower Silurian, Llandovery Series; Aeronian Stage of Cili, Hunan Province, China.
Sharply preserved and complete  except for the librigena, this crisp specimen retains original convexity. The pygidium has broad, shallow pleural furrows radiating from a weak axis; these effaced pleural ribs distinguish this species from similar Illaenids, which are also confined to the Ordovician in China
Matrix approx. 4cm X 2.5cm.
