Hey Ya'll, thanks for lookin' at my Cadillac Johnson's Texas Roadhouse Store. Janis Joplin "Texas Rose" at the Old Quarter-Houston Texas, is based from a night back in 1969, when Janis was back in Houston to see some old friends, one of which was Townes Van Zandt. The Old Quarter was a very old & funky building, in the downtown area of historic Market Square. It would serve as a gathering place for musicians & singer/songwriters It was a quiet mid week night and Townes was there playing and singin' when Janet appeared at the side of stage, and the proceeded to walk up and place a big kiss on Townes' forehead! What followed was an extraordinary night of low key song exchanges between old friends. Those who were there to see it, never forgot it! We now print all Roadhouse Posters on a very high quality 12 x 18 in 100 lb card stock especially designed for digital reproduction. These Posters look fabulous in person. I've asked my good friend nationally acclaimed Everglades Folk Artist Lennie Jones to do a series of original paintings for me, all based on my fondest memories & gig's I've done, as well as some I could kick myself for missin'!. With Lennies' wonderful & soulful images & my own graphics collaboration, I've created these unique pieces offered here. Please note that Janis Joplin "Texas Rose" at the Old Quarter in Houston, Texas, is a fully copyrighted and protected original image & may not be reproduced in any manner without specific written permission from Johnson-Jones Blues Collaborations, Inc. Thanks for lookin'!I will be glad to sign it upon request.
