    Description

    Payson is a pleasant little town about 45 minutes Northeast of the Phoenix Metropolitan area.  It is located along the Mogollon Rim or the starting of the High Plateau of Northern Arizona.  The Mogollon Rim is the largest Douglas Fir Forest in the Country. (So. . . Arizona is not all desert!)
    The map also covers the smaller towns of Strawberry, Kohls Ranch, and shows many of the Local Forest Service Roads as well as the Trailheads around Payson.
