Description

Original WW2 Japanese helmet liner pads. These came to me from Japan as part of a lot sale which consisted of NOS/warehouse find items. I have never seen these before "loose"/never sewn to the leather base. They do not have the little pillow inserts, but are in very sound condition. These do show age, which verifies their authenticity. I was also surprised to receive with these, the rubber straps that are a component of the chemical protective gear for horses which were still soft/pliable? Forty years ago, most WW2 period rubber items were already rock hard!
