A very well-preserved, rare, complete, enrolled trilobite is offered.
This is a specimen from a classic site famous for its Ordovician trilobites with their exoskeletons preserved in an outstanding thick and beautifully black colored form of calcite. The shell is partially peeled. T
he inside of the specimen is partly filled with while calcite, seen from the peeled parts.
The locality is almost closed to collecting. Only picking up loosen rocks is allowed currently, making it more difficult to obtain this kind of high-quality specimen nowadays.
