    Nice IDENTIFIED WWII Japanese Steel Helmet & Liner, Marine Veteran Bring-back Souvenir From Pacific Combat
    DESCRIPTION:
    Original WWII IDENTIFIED Japanese steel helmet & liner. Scans show it all. Original brown paint looks fairly good, with only a few signs of surface rust, as shown. Has what appears to be the full coarse fabric liner & chin strap remaining, just as I got it. Also has GREAT WWII hand painted kanji identification on the inside rim!!!
    All in all in very good original condition, just as brought home by the marine from the Pacific fighting.
    A very nice example of something that went through the war and conceivably was being worn and used by its owner when he met his maker. Shows its age and use, but still is in nice condition.
    This one is especially nice with the hand painted identification.
