An original...23 x 17 inch sheet from the October,28th,1966... issue of the---LA FREE PRESS NEWSPAPER-----The Mothers of Invention/Frank Zappa...playing Earl Warren Showgrounds in Santa Barbara,California...on October 29th,1966..a fairly early show in their careers...before Salzers had started doing shows there..this show was the night before the FREAK-OFF show at the Great Western....also on this sheet..The 7 Souls.playing at Maverick"s Flat....in LA...the personal included a VERY young Bob Welch...LOVE..another EARLY show for them..playing The Whisky a GOGO...an afternoon concert..and playing there for a while..their first lp had been out for only 6 months..with not much success...a long add for ..The Hullabaloo Club..it appears they got shut down before this add..and it explains they have a temporary license to operate..in small print it advertises the Freak-Off/Mothers show....also...The Iron Butterfly..look them up..this add is shown on the web site....hailing from San Diego and Santa Barbara..this WAS the first series of shows outside of San Diego...unknown band at the time...they were the house band at Bido Lito's in LA..some other notable adds..Big Mama May Thorton at Ash Grove...The Fifth Estate..The Troubadour had The Dillards..and The Chad Mitchell Trio...a historic sheet/concert times in LA and Santa Barbara...the condition is seen in the pictures..fragile.water damage..must be shipped flat........see photos for exact conditions.........00 flat cardboard shipping...USA only
