Pair of Large 17” (42cm) Maneki Neko Lucky Cats, Left & Right White Ceramic Beckoning Cats w/ Rosewood Bases
This listing is for a pair of large Maneki-Neko ceramic lucky cats.
The white ceramic beckoning cats are in very good condition with no damage to the porcelain statues and come with a set of rosewood rectangular display stands.
The traditional Tokoname-style Maneki Neko figures stand approximately 16 ¾” – 17” tall (42 cm) and are about 10 ¾” wide (27 cm) and 9 ¼” deep (23 cm).
There is a money slot on the back of each Maneki-Neko that measures about 1 ¾” long (4.5 cm).
The thin foam covering the open bases is loose and torn in a few areas not affecting the display of these Lucky Cats.
Included with the large white glossy ceramic waving cats are 2 rosewood bases or stands measuring approximately 7” by 10” (18cm x 26cm) and about 1 5/8” tall (4cm).
The stands show some wear with scratches, nicks, and some light damage to the edges and corners.
These are quality, well-made pieces, the decoration and detail is very nice.
There are some production flaws such as mold marks, join voids (shown in photo) missing paint, stray paint, and rough and raised ceramic spots, all consistent with production of such large and detailed ceramic figures.
Overall, the pair displays very nicely and are clean, ready for display in any home or business.
The pair of white ceramic Maneki Neko weigh over 14 pounds (6.3 kg) with each one just over 7 lbs. (3 kg).
The stands or bases add another 4 ½ lbs. (2 kg).
The set of Lucky Cats will be sent in two separate packages because of the size.
Shipping costs via UPS will run about to 0 depending upon location.
Ebay will not allow for an accurate shipping cost to be displayed because it is 2 packages so what you see and pay will be inflated, I will credit the buyer back the difference.
