DETAILS OF ITEM
This is a vintage Japanese Imari Maneki Neko (aka Beckoning Cat) that measures 5.5 inches high. It was entirely hand made and hand painted by an Imari kiln artisan. Arabesque design with Peony flowers over its body and wearing a red collar around its neck.
Marked Imari at the base.
The condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or repairs. Its age is from the 1960's (Mid Century).
