Johnny Winter at Act III a Go Go Poster by Cadillac Johnson

The very first time that I saw Johnny play was at the Act III a Go Go down on S. Main St. in Houston. The club had a large window behind the stage and you could watch Johnny as he played accompanied by Go Go dancers workin' out!
This was early 1966 and I was too young to get inside at the time, but it didn't stop us from watching from outside. I'd never seen anything like it in my short 15 years. I never thought that I would end up playing with Johnny and becoming friends.
I've asked renowned Folk Art Blues Artist Lennie Jones to share some of his images with me. As with all artwork here, it is Copyright Protected by Johnson-Jones Blues Collaborations and any unauthorized use is prohibited.
