It is a handmade maneki neko of Umezuki Tomimoto Ningyouen Co., Ltd., which
produces maneki neko in Tokoname City Aichi Japan.

The Maneki-neko(beckoning cat/lucky cat) is a common Japanese figurine which is
often believed to bring good luck to the owner.
Maneki-neko come in different colors and styles and vary in degrees of detail.
Common colors are white, black, and gold. In addition to statues, Maneki-neko can be
found in the form of keychains, piggy banks, air fresheners, pots, and numerous
other mediums. Maneki-neko are sometimes referred to simply as "lucky cats".
The koban was a Japanese oval gold coin in Edo period feudal Japan, equal to one
ryo(Ichi-ryo), another early Japanese monetary unit. It was a central part of
Tokugawa coinage.
Tokoname ware refers to a type of Japanese pottery, stoneware, and ceramics produced
in and around the municipality of Tokoname, Aichi-ken in central Japan. Tokoname was
the location of one of the Six Ancient Kilns of Japan.
