    I bought it at Fushimi Shrine, the most popular shrine in the Kansai region of Japan, which you can see at the end of the image.

    What makes a beckoning cat a beckoning cat is its hands. Generally speaking, the right hand is the one that invites money, and the left hand is the one that invites people (customers).
