FRANK ZAPPA & THE MOTHERS
at the Rainbow Theatre in London on 10th & 11th December, 1971. This was the show where Zappa was pushed off the stage and landed in the venue's concrete orchestra pit. The attack forced the band to cancel the remainder of the European tour, leaving Zappa himself wheelchair-bound for nearly a year! Also appearing at the Rainbow Theatre during November and December were Mott the Hoople (14th Nov), Mountain + Wishbone Ash (12th & 13th Nov), Osibisa (19th Nov), Family (26th Nov), and Fairport Convention (27th Nov). An uncommon and highly collectible piece of original early 1970s European Frank Zappa concert memorabilia.
The handbill measures 8.8 x 13.5 cm (approx. 3.5" by 5.3" inches) and is printed in blue and black inks on thin cardboard stock. The handbill is well worn. It has been folded twice and there is creasing and a few rips to the top as well as some writing in blue biro. Please see both supersized photos below for the exact condition of the handbill.
