    Description

    This is a Middle Cambrian trilobite,
    Homatolenus possibly vivicenti
    , from the Jbel Wawrmast Formation at  Jbel Ougnate in Morocco.
    The trilobite consists of the positive and negative impressions of the same specimen. It is a molt, in that the free cheeks are missing. The trilobite is 2.2 inches long and 1.1 inches wide. Trilobite and matrix is 4 inches long and 3.2 inches wide..The orange color is natural, caused by the oxidation of iron during the animal being fossilized.
    There is no apparent repair. All of my fossils are guaranteed authentic and have been legally obtained.
