    Description

Offered is an increasingly rare, good sized (6.2cm) and well preserved item for the specialist trilobite collector; a piece of mudstone matrix approx. 8cm X 5cm X 3.5cm, from the Middle Silurian; Wenlock Series of Ape Dale, Shropshire, UK
Complete except for the librigena this is a very displayable 3D example of a once common UK calymenid, that has become very uncommon due to loss of localities. The dark brown shell is intact over most of surface and the anterior spathe is intact, and both palpebral lobes are well shown too.
LOW start bid for such a fully articulated and good sized example of this beautiful relative of the coeval 'Dudley Bug' from Shropshire.
