This is a fabulous example of an OLD US trilobite. It is a top quality Wanneria walcottana from the Lower Cambrian, found in York County, Pennsylvania years ago.
This striking specimen is a counterpart (negative impression), but is extremely impressive nonetheless. The textbook trilobite is complete down to the tiny, bifurcated tail, which is extremely unusual. The ancient arthropod has incredible detail preserved and has beautiful natural color and contrast displayed.
The substantial trilobite is showcased on a large,
natural plate of Kinzers Shale that also contains an Olenellus head and an enigmatic Salterella acervulosa organism!
And, best of all, this trilobite has NO REPAIR OR RESTORATION WHATSOEVER!
This is an extremely collectible, extremely displayable example of a complete, classic Lower Cambrian Wanneria walcottana straight from Amish Country.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS.com is included with this specimen. FREE SHIPPING in the USA!
