Here is a complete specimen of Kainops raymondi from the Lower Devonian of Oklahoma. This trilobite is differentiated from Paciphacops by having more lenses in the eyes. This distinct specimen is prone and well preserved. The bug is very 3-dimensional and exhibits fine detail. The granulose glabella is nicely displayed, and the compound eyes of the trilobite are quite evident. The thick-shelled, caramel-colored trilobite contrasts wonderfully with the light-colored matrix. The striking bug is well showcased on the large, natural block of marlstone. This is a very nice example of this large-eyed Phacopid trilobite from the Haragan Formation.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS.com is included with this specimen. FREE SHIPPING in the USA!
