    This is a beautiful Devonian trilobite. It is a fabulous Phacops sp. from Morocco. This classic trilobite was painstakingly prepared under a microscope in the EXTINCTIONS Prep Lab. The outstretched bug is large and extremely inflated and 3-dimensional. The robust trilobite exhibits extremely nice detail - the granulose nature of the exoskeleton is clearly defined, and the large compound eyes are easily seen. The striking trilobite has very good natural color and contrast intact and is well showcased on the large plate of sculpted limestone. This is a very nice display specimen of Phacops sp., prepared in the good old USA.
