This is an extremely nice example of a hard-to-find trilobite. It is a free-standing Pseudocryphaeus from Morocco. This distinct specimen was prepared under a microscope in the EXTINCTIONS Prep Lab. This type of trilobite has a distinctly pointed snout - this specimen has this snout prepared free-standing. The pleurons and tail spines are also prepared free of matrix - it is like the bug is floating above the rock! The colorful trilobite is beautifully displayed on the sculpted matrix plate. This is a very collectible example of a prone Pseudocryphaeus trilobite from Morocco.
