    Description

    Escondido Mutual Water Company, Stock Certificate, A Issue, size 8 ½” x 11” in used condition, with signatures and stamps and cancellations, folds, marks, holes and rips. Printed on both sides, with a beautiful image of a flaming torch on one side with ornate borders, and an ornate border on the other side. The Escondido Mutual Water Company, Escondido, California, was incorporated May 9, 1905.  A real piece of Escondido history!
    This classic certificate is numbered A481, dated Apr. 2, 1951, for 100 shares issued to D.C. Russell.  There is another document stamped by the Superior Court attached to this about the transfer of the shares.
