    Description

    Circa 1940s - 1950s cardboard case box that held 24 14 oz. boxes of 5 Minute Cream of Wheat. It has images of the smiling black chef pointing to a box with the caption "Here's 5 minute Cream of Wheat !" on the front and back. At the bottom it is inscribed "Rich in flavor ... easy to digest." The top of the box is marked "Kramer & Son Inc., La Porte, IND." , the name of the grocer who purchased the boxes. It is in excellent condition with strong colors, minor wear and soiling. It measures 12.25 inches tall by 11.5 inches in length.
