    Description

    This limited-editon (only 215 made) light cobalt blue scroll flask was designed in NC and made by Clevenger Brothers Glass Works in 1975. Handmade, mouthblown. A Clevenger sticker identifying it as authentic handmade South Jersey glass. Front is embossed "North Carolina / [image of State outline on which is written the State's motto, Esse Quam Videri (to be rather than to seem) / First in Freedom." The reverse has "First in Freedom series" at the top, followed by a list of six of NC's contributions to our Revolutionary War efforts events (one of which includes this bottle). 7" tall x 4" wide. It is accompanied by a brochure put out by the State of North Carolina in 1975 to educate about NC's Revolutionary contributions.
