    Located about halfway between Tucson and Phoenix is the bustling community of Casa Grande, Arizona.   Named after the Casa Grande Ruins nearby, the town has become a major bedroom community of Phoenix.  It is also located at the intersection of Interstate 10 which continues to Phoenix and on to Los Angeles a
    nd Interstate 8 which heads to Yuma and San Diego, California
    The map also covers the surrounding communities of Tempe, Mesa, Coolidge, Glorence, Eloy, Arizona City and includes the Ruins and Pichaco Peak.  Picacho Peak is a State Park that highlights a major Volcanic Pipe landform.  (with a strenuous Hiking trail)  Picacho Peak is also the site of the ONLY Civil War Battle in the State of Arizona.
