Antique 18K White Gold 6 Carats Rose Cut & Transitional Diamonds Emerald Brooch

Description

Antique 18K white gold ribbon swirl brooch set with an outer ring of graduated rose cut diamond slices, and an inner ring of prong set antique transitional cut diamonds. Diamonds total approximately 6 carats by measure and are graded SI1-I1 and K/L color. With milgrain edges and accented by two natural faceted emeralds. Appears to date to the early 20th century, or possibly older.  Trombone clasp is likely a replacement.
Unmarked, professionally tested.
Very good condition with typical minor wear. One emerald with chip and one with an internal fracture. A few diamonds with minor chips. Please look carefully at the images. Some diamonds with eye visible inclusions as was common for the period.
Total weight is 8.0 dwt, 12.5 grams, or .40 ozT. Measures 1 7/8ths inches wide by 1 ¾ inches tall.
