    Description

    Amber Washington Figural  Bottle Drinking Glass with Seal Whimsey ----Clevenger Mold.  It is one of 20 made in 2013 at the now defunct Gilson & Sons Glassworks in Clayton NJ. The glassworks closed in 2015. . They were made in dark amber using empty Guieness beer bottles. It is appx 5" tall. There is a manufacturing pontil scar on the bottom from the pontil rod as shown in the photo. The bottle is free of any cracks or stains. These bottles have an applied seal on the front with an embossed 'G'.  The 'G' could stand for Guieness  or George. No two are alike. This whimsey was hand made in the Clevenger Brothers George Washington Figural mold as shown in the photo. NOTE: Mold is NOT included in this auction. For informational purpose only.
