    Description

An astounding assemblage consisting of two outstretched Flexicalymene retrorsa trilobites from the Ordovician of the Arnheim Formation from Mt. Orab, Ohio.  This locality is now no longer accessible so the specimens currently in the market are the only ones available. This is a nearly flawless outstreteched specimen in an excellent state of preservation along with another which has one cheek missing. The more complete specimen measures nearly an inch in length with the one missing the cheek measuring in at a bit over 3/4 inches.  A bonus is a huge hypostome from a different specie of trilobite on the same matrix.  A unique assemblage of specimens on matrix sure to be a centerpiece in any Trilobite collection. Please review the photos as they are a part of the description and shows the actual item you will receive.
