1978 Yamaha XS650 Excellent Condition Under 8K miles

1978 Yamaha XS650. Under 8K miles. In excellent condition for the years. Always stored indoors. The only things that I know aren't bone stock are the plug wires, the mirrors (I think they were round on the original), and the tubing from the carbs. Plus someone glued a medallion from the dealership on one of the side covers and I have just left it there, because I think it's kind of cool.
Will include all the extras you see in the last pic: Original owner's manual, shop manual, extra gasket kit and filters, extra side cover parts, and a lifetime supply of the oil drain plug crush O-rings that you can't get from Yamaha any more.
I don't think you're likely to find another one in this condition without buying from a museum or collector.
Buy it now price is the NADA Blue Book value for Maine, where the riding season is about 6 weeks long. Value may be considerably higher elsewhere.
The tires have some sidewall cracking. I haven't started it since I rode it to our new home in 12/2019, but it's been on a trickle charger the whole time. Full disclosure: It was running a little ragged that day, but the temperature was a balmy 30 degees.
