    Description

    1940s Cream of Wheat Advertising Cloth Doll 17" Chef Rastus Black Americana.
    - The 17 in cloth doll has no rips or tears in the fabric or stitching, just a loose thread on the top front section of the apron. It still has what looks to be the original chef's apron which has not been present on similar Cream of Wheat dolls sold recently. There is minimum fading on the print and small amounts of staining on the fabric. The stuffing is soft and still retains its shape when pressure is applied. It is missing the chefs hat. Overall it is in great original condition for its age.
    - This Doll is Chef Rastus who was the symbol of Cream of Wheat since the 1890's. He is holding a bowl of Cream of Wheat with a big smile on his face. It is a great piece for a collector of Black Americana memorabilia.
