1899 Arizona Water Company 00 General Mortgage Five Percent Income Gold Bond #378 with vignette of allegorical female character looking over cherubim playing in the water.
This State of Maine company was organized in 1898 to acquire the assets of seven land and water ventures located in the Salt River Valley near Phoenix, Arizona. Cancelled bond - stamp in lower left corner is 1898!
